Why mission?

As Christians, we find that it is incredibly good to believe in Jesus and to live with him. We can pray to Him and find that He hears and answers. We have a hope of eternal life. We have a special fellowship with other Christians. We have God's own words in the Bible that give life a perspective.

In DLM we cannot help but share that with others.

Mission is obedience to Jesus

The simple answer why DLM does mission: Because Jesus tells us to. In the gospel of Matthew chapter 28 verses 18b-20 Jesus says to his disciples:

"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

This commandment DLM endeavours to follow.

Mission is vital

As Christians we believe that the Bible tells the truth when saying that people are forever doomed if they do not know God's mercy in Jesus Christ.

Therefore, it is vital that the message of him is communicated to other people in action and in words in order for more people to be saved from the devil's power and to avoid the wrath of God's judgment
